Is Scrubs on the way to ABC? – TV Squad
Listen, we can get in to a discussion over whither or not Scrubs has fallen a bit flat lately.
(For the record, last season: totally. This season: not so much. And it has everything to do with JD not acting like a goofball all the time. Yes he is a goofball, but it’s his balance with that and being a caring doctor/friend that makes the character so interesting. Last season they turned him into a cartoon character and the show suffered. This season he’s been working on acting like an adult for his son, and the show got better.)
Still, a bit flat or not, I want this show to have the ending the writers intend. Not some cobbled together story, written because NBC doesn’t want to give them the full rest of the season.
If the show has to move to ABC to do it, then let’s move the show to ABC.
Frankly it’s a shame this didn’t happen a long time ago. The execs over at ABC love the show, and if they took it, then maybe they could have given it the love it needed.
Instead fans have to hope and pray someone, somewhere can get the last 16 episodes out.
