So on nice days I eat lunch a couple blocks down from my building, and more or less across the street from the UN building.
Well today as I was listening to TWiT, I herd some sort of shouting over a PA system. I guessed it was probably some Tibetan protesters, so I headed down to the park a couple of blocks over where they like to put protesters.
I was right. There was a whole bunch of people with Tibetan flags and everyone was shouting in unison.
The funny thing is, as I took this photo I was literally across the street for them, and I STILL couldn’t understand what they were saying. It either was, “Meow meow, meow meow!” or “How now brown cow!”
Both of which are effective chants, but somehow I think your message was lost to the people 4 blocks down and 2 blocks over in the UN.
(Oh and, “We Will Die For Tibet?” I’m not sure how to take that.)
