Gerber Gator Combo Axe from REI.com
I saw this on uncrate this morning, and for the life of me I can’t think of a single, non-serial killer, use for this.
I can see having an axe. I can see having a knife. I can even see why
you might need both at the same time, but why would you need an axe and
a hidden knife?
Maybe if you were a secret agent and you wanted to go, “Fine, I will surrender my axe… but not my knife! Hi-keeba!”
(10 nerd points if you get the reference.)
Of course if you pass the knife to your captor the good ol’ fashioned boy scout way (handle first) it will be difficult to first slide out the knife… Maybe if you give it a quick flick you can sort of eject/fling it out at your prey.
I’ll wait for the 2.0 release that gets right to the point and has a hatchet blade attached to a gun
Oooo… Gunaxe. I like it.
Someone should use that in an action flick.
And yes, I know about the Gunblade from Final Fantasy, but I think I like Gunaxe better. I even see a scene where our hero throws the axe into one person, and the gun goes off hitting a second.
