So Jane and I got a chance to go to Nantucket on Monday and we just got back yesterday.
I won’t go into too much detail because most of the trip involves Jane’s job, but I have to say the whole island is gorgeous.
I might talk a little more about it later after I run it past Jane, but I’ll just say if you get a chance to go, do.
Only make sure you have someone who knows how to get around.

Rich People Rooftops NYC – a set on Flickr
I’ve worked in a few different buildings in NYC that were tall enough to be overlooking a few apartment buildings, and I always found it fascinating to look at what the people lucky enough to have the top floor did with it. To this day I still look up at the tops of buildings to see what people have done with them.
The funny thing is, and a few of the commenters on Flickr have pointed out, that you hardly ever see anyone out enjoying their roof decks. It might just be a case of overlooking something that you have access too every day, but I still find it frustrating that people could afford to have such beautiful open spaces, with great views of the city, that I would die to use, but they never use it themselves.
Heck, I’d live in a tent on of of these places.
